PRECIOUS N. WALLACE?
Precious N. Wallace (b. 1993) is a self taught and professionally trained multidisciplinary artist and designer from Minneapolis, MN. This creativepreneur explores design through color theory, storytelling, and cultivating different audiences with sustainable frameworks. The artwork she creates is intentionally from her imagination of her past selves and it allows anyone to see themselves, while her design work is a direct reflection of the objectives for each project presented.
Wallace's works embody retro futurism and pop art bridging the gap between design and fine art while keeping her commitment of radical self validation and self love to humanize modern day trends.
After graduating from Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 2017, Wallace started her remote graphic design business, known as King P. Studio® and has worked with Red Bull, Blavity, AIGA MN, University of Minnesota, Ilhan Omar and many others.
Wallace has premiered work at various institutions from MN Tech Startup Week, Squirrel Haus, StarTribune, BlackTable Arts, and The Coven. She has received notable grants from the Knight Foundation, YouthPrise, and Fearless Commerce and she has had her work recognized by Twin Cities Business, CityPages, and Alice Riot.
Wallace has created murals, ran workshops, spoke on panels, and created live events throughout the United States for women of color creatives discussing their work and businesses through her media platform, Art In Many Forms. She continues to create her work for both herself and King P. Studio® clientele, and her supporters on social media.
